Peach Teats Ltd is a company owned by Robert McIntyre specialising in innovative solutions for the dairy industry. Rob, a dairy farmer himself was looking for a better way of feeding his calves than the hard rubber tubes were industry standard at the time. In 1993 he started the development process of the Peach Teat. Rob invented a non-return valve to fit inside the teat, resulting in less energy expended by growing calves to suck their milk. In early 1996 Pikes Plastics was approached to find a solution to their moulding issues. The challenges they were facing were difficulty achieving a consistant quality product and sourcing a food grade material that would not break down with the milk and harsh weather conditions. Rex soon solved these challenges and we now produce hundreds of thousands of valves annually that are exported worldwide. Rex has worked closely with Rob and his company Peach Teats for the past 19 years developing several other products for the dairy industry.
